Qigong (chee' gung) - cultivating vital energy with a dedicated practice.

In this class you will learn: Exercises from two systems, one that originated well over 1000 years ago, the other originated several hundred years ago. The exercises benefit the spine, the bones in general, and the Kidney system. They can be modified for a variety of abilities.

Two meditations – one is a variation of a classic qigong meditation, the second moves the qi through the body to develop and nourish three major energy reservoirs in the body. Both are enjoyable to practice.

A detailed handout will help as you continue your practice at home. Dress for movement and stillness. Bring a writing instrument and water. Eat lightly before class.

Additional Sessions on January 31 and February - $10/each

Since the mid-1980’s, Kirk Norby has learned and practiced a wide variety of qigong, qigong meditations and self-massage. He’s become increasingly aware of the multi-layered benefits of these practices and enjoys sharing them with others.
