Vinyasa Fitness Flow Yoga Instructor
Hello! My name is Marisa Neyenhuis and I have been teaching Yoga since 2018. My favorite class to teach is a Vinyasa style Fitness Flow where I incorporate isometrics and other strength exercises into the poses. Yoga is a personal practice and I am a strong advocate for going to your own edge, regardless of what anyone else in the class is doing. Every day and every body is different, so our practice will be unique to how we're feeling on any given day. I aspire to make my classes challenging, but fun and to have people leave feeling better than when they arrived. Each class will begin and end with a grounding meditation.
I was born and raised in Hamilton, then moved away for 19 years, spending time in Oregon, Texas and Vermont before moving back to the valley in 2020 with my husband and son and becoming a co-owner of Chapter One Book Store. Though I miss the other places I've lived, it's great to be back in my hometown. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
