Vocal Medicine with Kathleen Karlsen

Find bliss and healing in the science of sound! Discover how to transform yourself and your world through the power of mantras. Chanting is an ancient practice that supports optimal balance on many levels: physical, emotional, and spiritual. Some mantras help to heal personal trauma. Others focus on increasing the spiritual fire in the heart and chakras. Perhaps best of all, kirtan is a therapeutic social practice. Studies show that group singing releases bonding chemicals and decreases stress hormones. Chanting together is a drug-free, calorie-free buzz!

This introductory event is perfect for both beginners and experienced mantra lovers.
